My in-laws were in town over the weekend and I wanted to do something quick and easy to jazz up our apartment decor. I always keep my wine bottles and random jars in hopes of using them for some project or another and this time they finally came in handy! I grabbed my chalkboard paint and started spraying. This is seriously the world's easiest crafting project and I love the final product. In fact, I am so obsessed that I might just start spray painting everything I own!
I made two chalkboard wine bottle vases and one chalkboard pickle jar vase. My one word of advice is to spray at least three coats of paint. I initially only did two coats and when I wrote on the jar, my chalk scratched through some of the paint. The third coat of spray paint seemed to do the trick and now I have super awesome chalkboard vases!
Seriously, save some jars and start spray painting. You will not regret it!
